The TYPO3 Association
At the heart of the TYPO3 project is the TYPO3 Association which is responsible for various tasks in relation to furthering the development and use of TYPO3. This includes:
- collecting funds so that more time can be dedicated by core developers to core programming
- giving the community a way to show their sustaining support
- more transparency regarding organization and decision-making
- legal provision for collecting funds
- serving as official representing body
